- Using Gor-CounterEarth's http server space for business/commercial purposes is prohibited.
- \sing Gor-CounterEarth's http server space as a Homepage or Entrance to a business/commercial site is prohibited.
- Using Gor-CounterEarth's http server space for sites which generate excessive amounts of traffic is prohibited.
- Posting anything designed to disrupt the flow of communication is prohibited. This means using an unknown name in an attempt to belittle, demean or degrade a citizen of GCE.
- Posting in a manner designed to 'enflame' the occupants of a room is prohibited. See above... it is far easier to simply either say nothing if you can't either say something nice or just post to the subject and not the individual.
- Threatening to post, or posting peoples real names, identities, or other rt information is prohibited. This includes telling others what you may know of or about an individuals real life. The only amendment to this is if the individual is doing something illegal, but still all one need to is to call that local police station to be the snitch.
- Threatening to 'trace' someone, or actually tracing someone's IP address is prohibited. Amendment; Hyperchat employees, or site owners are exempt .
- Impersonating other people (member or guest) is prohibited.
- Harassing other people is prohibited. Harassment includes 'hate crimes', 'stalking', and continuing to post to someone after being asked to stop.
- Any illegal activity as defined by the Laws of the United States, State or Federal is prohibited. We believes strongly in the right to privacy, and we do not moderate or inspect the information transmitted to and from this box. However, we will investigate any matter brought to our attention and cooperate in any lawful investigation involving the use of this system.
- Child Pornography will not be tolerated. While child pornography is covered in the previous bullet as an illegal activity, we make special mention of it here because of our strong convictions against the exploitation of children. We will cooperate fully with any investigation into child pornography which involves the use of our facilities. We will also report to the proper authorities any child pornography evidence that is uncovered or reported to us. In this context, child pornography is defined as pictures involving the sexual exploitation of children.
If a member posts any links to child pornography, or, uses any facilities for the purpose of hosting or distributing child pornography, their membership will immediately be cancelled.
The IP address Issue here at this site.
The reason this site was set up showing IP addresses is:
the majority of populace of the place I was at before I had decided to create this Gorean Chat site, had shown a marked interest in wanting IP addresses shown.
Since that populace wanted it and it wasn't possible to have it done for them at that particular site, I thought I'd do something nice and create this site for them and myself so that bad things other people were doing would stop and if they didn't, they then could be easily identified. Like I said; This is what the people said they wanted. So when the GCE Chat site was originally set up by cyberhelp Inc., I had them do so to where the IP address would be shown. Now, after the fact, it has come to my attention, that people now have decided that they don't want it that way, they changed their mind.
At this juncture, it is too late to change it without it costing me (the owner of this site) more money. I do not make any monetary revenue by owning this site. All membership dues that each member pays, is transferred directly to cyberhelp Inc., not to my pocket. Therefore the below is how it is here.
In this site:
- The Ip address of non-members in GCE can be seen by anyone and or everyone.
- Members IP address cannot be seen by everyone.
This affords many things, both Good and Bad.
- The good is, that it is a deterrent which can help keep down the amount of people whose only agenda is; to enter chat sites in attempts to cause turmoil to the paying members of the site. Or those few who are members, that do such things as attempt to be anon in attempts to belittle another person. It allows everyone to identify those people whose sole purpose is to come here and lie, deceive and or behave in a criminal or non-respective way.
- The down side or bad part of it is that it can induce an act of abuse and or criminal behavior by people of those who would use the IP address to trace an individual and use such information in a criminal act. . But know this! If it is found out that someone has done so and uses the information gathered to harass, stalk or in anyway, perform any illegal activity towards another person. I (the owner of GCE along with help from Cyber Help, Inc.) will, without my hesitation, ban the the individual from GCE. I will take it personally and will do my level best to inform any and all legal avenues in order to jail the individual. The IP address issue is like a lock. Not a complete absolute. It's to keep people honest. Criminals or those of criminal attitude and mindset, no matter what a person does to try to protect things and others, will always find a way to get past a lock. They will find ways to do their misdeeds.
Therefore a few rules will be repeated here.Harrassing other people will not be tolerated.
Note: Our definition of harassment includes 'hate crimes', 'stalking', threatening to reveal or revealing RT/VT lives, as well as posting repeatedly to another person after that person has requested the posting stop.
Theatening to post, or posting peoples real names, identities, or other information about them without their express permission is prohibited.
- The disregarding amendment to these rules apply only to the owner of the gor-counterearth.com chat site and Cyberhelp.Inc. of which server space and program is being used.

To non members,This site is not set up like the other sites of hyperchat.com. Yes, there is a "see all", but at this present time, only paying members of GCE can see it and use it. There is no general populace corkboard on the site itself. There is a discussion cork for the site, but is not on the cyberhelp inc. server. There is a link to it in all of the sites main rooms to get to it.
